Heads Must Roll!

So Let the Indictments Begin.

The reality that the United States of America is now perceived by a significant portion of the global community as an abusive, war-mongering bullyboy is grim enough. Yet the real outrage is the fact that our government continues to coddle conspirators in the executive branch, the judiciary and the pentagon who have
- perpetrated a fraudulent "war on terror,"
- severely undermined the credibility of the US government by mounting an invasion of a disarmed sovereign state under the pretext that it stockpiled "weapons of mass destruction" making it an "imminent threat" to the security of the United States (then when that claim turned out to be obvious bullshit, attempted to blame it on "faulty intelligence"), and
- conspired to devise a legalistic shield to protect themselves from prohibitions against torture spelled out in the Geneva Convention and the United States 1996 Federal War Crimes Act.

This last offense is indictable under current US law. Therefore Torture Memo calls for the immediate indictment of the following officials for gross violation of the 1996 Federal War Crimes Act:
